Right now, he was reaching the point where he had to think more heavily about his future. For now, he couldn't say that he had ground breaking dreams or anything asides living his youth to the fullest. Though being a third year in high school was the time where adulthood was starting to knock and he had to think more seriously about things like going to college, getting a job and even finding love.
Well, he was concerned with the third goal. Though even Arata despite all of his luck with flirting around with girls had never scored a date due to his perverted nature. He considered it a "If it happens, it happens" kind of deal. And one day, he had gotten a talk from his parents saying that they found a cute girl that he had to meet. They mentioned the time of day, the place to meet up and they were even generous enough to offer a picture on what his date would look like. The face had looked a little familiar... But he couldn't put his finger on where he saw it from. Arata who couldn't ever turn down a request for a cute girl had instantly agreed and accepted these conditions.
However, his parents kept some information away from him. For this meeting was going to change the fate of the Sonoda dojo. That family was going to be trouble for the future if they didn't have an heir (or two... or five) to keep the place running for new generations. Hence why he had been selected to be the fiance of their lovely daughter. Little did Arata know was that his parents were friends with Umi's parents. Today was going to be the first meeting between him and the Sonoda's family future heiress.
They figured that they could leave Umi to do explaining on what this meeting had meant for the two of them. It would've been more meaningful from her lips than hearing those words from his parents. With that said, Arata had dressed himself up for the occasion as he was heading for the location.]
I can't say that I'm against this whole thing... But is this really gonna be okay? This blind date felt like a really urgent thing.
