[When he returned home, Touma had discovered something mysterious that happened over the past few weeks. His best friends seemed to have become school idol fanatics. The word of μ's had spread far and wide throughout the school grounds. Not just around his school, but around the world. Despite acting like he didn't care too much for pop culture, Touma always did find himself keeping up with the times. While he could've handwaved the adventures at Empatheias as a weird dream...
A certain girl that he met there proved that it wasn't. The school idol named Nico Yazawa. Though Touma knew that the chance of her remembering him might've been slim. She was a big shot idol now, wasn't she? Touma considered himself a normal high school student, so their worlds were practically Heaven and Earth now. But it still wouldn't had hurt to go to the final live show to see her face once more. Or he'd have the feeling that he'd start hearing her yelling at him in his sleep. There was even the fact that his friends were going to cover up that excuse. And it was a while since he behind to a live show since he met Meigo Arisa. They were girls without any special powers, yet still giving it their best shot on stage. Of course he had to go and support them.
But just by the wild chance that he did manage to see Nico personally, he bought a small bouquet of flowers like he gave her last time. Touma knew that there was a chance that she wouldn't remember him at all... But this simple gesture would've been enough. However, his plans were foiled whenever he step foot outside after the final live was over.
Because it rained on him. Well. Considering how bright μ's was, Touma should've expected a dark cloud of misfortune to ruin his happy day. There was nothing more to do than tell his friends that he'd be heading home.
But the next evening... He decided to go take a walk when the sun was setting and the stars were coming out. Touma didn't have a particular destination as last night's events were still fresh on his mind. The chances of him seeing her again were one in a million, he figured. And maybe seeing her happy on stage was the best way to leave her memory behind. Still, he hoped that she was okay-]
--DAMN IT! SUCH MISFORTUNE!!
[Though those thoughts were completely derailed as he was scratching his head and down on his knees in near tears. As in the park, he was currently battling his worst possible opponent... The soda machine that had taken away his 100 yen!]
Gimme a break! First it has to rain on my hopeful youthful encounter! And now this piece of crap takes away my 100 yen!? Someone just kill me now!
